I can tell you that Indian outsourcing was great for my business as customers here in the US have been burned a few times from overseas firms, plus cultural gaps, language gaps and time gaps and most importantly also what my team and I do is hands on in their offices.
Nothing against anyone overseas .. but a face to face meeting with people of a similar cultural background, and onsite experts versus webex / email / conference calls is all the difference in the world.
There is nothing more powerful than being able to look your customer in eye while doing business, golfing, or sharing a meal talking about the deal
