Here in Michigan some stores close earlier on Sunday but it's their choice, not a law. Many stores are 24/7. Until recently, you couldn't buy alcohol before noon on Sunday but that was changed to 7am so it's the same as the rest of the week with no alcohol sales between 2am and 7am. Also, we can buy alcohol on xmas now but it's almost impossible to find a store open.
