well, he did use more than just youtube. He did manage to bring traffic and also some conversions. It just was nowhere near a serious level. How could anybody expect conversions with less than 1000 unique visitors per day?
But the basic idea to use youtube, I think it's great. The question is more, how many uploads a day are possible, is it useful to open several accounts, how explicit can the content be until it gets banned etc., how to get traffic from already established accounts, or even videos. For example, when a video stops playing on youtube, there is a list of several videos which the user can choose to view next. Getting into that list for the right videos, could mean a lot of traffic.
Obviously I was trying to hire somebody, so I wouldn't need to worry about these questions. I'm sure with the right strategy and effort, it could work out.
But to be clear about Mirko's services: I would certainly not recommend them to anybody.
On the other hand, to call him a fraud, is not fair neither.
