Not quite true in all cases. For your point to be valid, there would have to be sites with absolutely no value. But since there are a bunch of great quality sites on the Internet, some people can actually make some cash telling it like it is because in this industry, everybody (generally) pays.

I think I may have left part of my soul there, but it was well worth it! I'd love to do it again. A little disappointed I didn't do more of Bangkok, but that's what a return is for.
I also should have saved that thread on sim cards. I arrived and grabbed the one at the airport and it wasn't so hot on the islands. Oh well... being a little disconnected isn't the worst thing to have happen, i guess ;)
