It's really simple. Product reviews are different things from seller reviews.

If you leave a seller a negative review that is SOLELY based on the product, then it gets removed from the seller's feedback.

Now, if you leave a review for me that said "The product sucked and her shipping was terribly slow", then they will not remove the feedback, because it contains a review of my services.

But a seller who gives otherwise good service doesn't deserve bad feedback because someone decided that they didn't like the fit of a sweater.
