I had a family friend growing up that until very recently owned a jewelry store at the Ft. Lauderdale Swap Shop, and I remember back in the day the Swap Shop would get raided by the feds every couple months. They would haul out loads and loads of counterfeit goods. Now I heard they were raided recently and the feds were targeting stolen goods, and they busted some huge ring of Easter European criminals that would target eBay in particular. They would buy goods, claim to never receive them, receive a refund, and then sell the goods at the Swap Shop. Then open a new account and rinse and repeat.

There are entire criminal groups targeting eBay like this now. It's a fucking shame because I used to buy and sell tens of thousands of dollars worth of goods on there, including all the overstock novelties from my old porn stores. Now I go there maybe once a year at best...
