Luckily I only had a couple of problems with sellers. One was for an older 1970's organ. I put it up on ebay as a local pick up only auction. It weighed a ton so shipping it would cost a fortune. I got some bidders and ended up with a winner. The guy contacts me and we set up a time for him to come pick it up. He is going to pay cash when he picks it up. When he arrives he looks it over, likes it, then starts to haggle on the price with me. The final sale price was $400. Suddenly he wants to offer me $150 for it. I tell him no. It works as I claimed, everything is there as I claimed. For about 20 minutes we debated over the price and he started getting pissed. Finally he told me that he didn't want the bench it came with so he shouldn't have to pay the full price. I agreed to knock $50 off if he didn't take the bench. He wasn't happy with that and ended up leaving.

I contacted the next highest bidder and he came out the next day and bought it. Then the first guy shows back up at my house a few days later and agrees to pay the full price. I tell him I sold it to someone else and he flipped out. He was so pissed off I actually shut the door in his face and called the cops who came and told him to leave.

I left feedback explaining what this guy had done, but he never responded it to or me so there never was a dispute other than him being removed from my place by the cops.

I learned my lesson then. Never invite ebayers over.
