I am suggesting a site with ten thousand poorly written texts will not do as well as the exact same site would do with ten thousand well-written texts. Content spinners and morphing text are notorious for agreement errors, incorrect pluralization and other basic grammar failures. So are bad writers. Poorly written text also results in lower time on site, higher bounce rates and unhelpful keyword density. On a site with 10,000 text items published, as the original poster requested, the aggregate of errors can be significant. More likely, the 500 dollar writer will just run text through a content spinner and repost it, claiming all the errors are original poorly written text rather than the even more unhelpful duplicate content they actually represent.

On a tube targeting free porn surfers you don't need a Pulitzer prize winning author, but there is still a big difference between a competent writer and an incompetent one. On a project where you are actually trying to sell a product or service, spelling or grammar errors can have a devastating impact on sales ratios. People distrust sites and companies that 'can't even proofread their own website' and literate people are immediately distracted by text errors which interrupt any intended sales pitch.
