I started to just feed my 12 year old dog table scraps and leftovers, and he's never been happier.
I just figured, he's spent his whole life begging and scheming to get human food from us, and bought pet food is always so terrible and I am sorry but I'm not spending crazy amounts trying to feed this dog all organic and shit lol. He absolutely loves it, and is healthy and happy. When I made the switch, he's like, wow what the hell happened? lol
The whole pet and pet food industry sickens me though. Mostly a commodity they are. And people will blindly care for one type of animal while eating another that suffers so much. It all sucks and nobody can really change any of it, even peta.
