Uhmm.. care to clarify which "authority figures" are "telling us" that aliens don't exist? You are contending that all of humanity with the exception of a few believes this, so this message is obviously widespread... yet, I can't understand who it is that's constantly pushing this message to the point that everyone believes it as you would have us believe is the case.
Basically, for everyone to believe this "propaganda" the message would have to rival the marketing efforts of a fortune 50 company.
