Rubberneckers and mouth breathers gather, feeding off each other with iPhones and digital cameras to bask in the moment.
The lazy, poor and ignorant start spouting about "karma" and laugh their asses off. Problem is they're still lazy, poor and ignorant.

exactly!!
One time I ran out of gas because I passed a crappy getty station trying to make it to a shell station. So I had to push the car a few hundred feet: litterally from one gas station parking lot to another. I remember the road turned into a parking lot with people laughing at me pushing my porsche. I was amazed at how silly & jealous your average 9-5 40k a year schlep is. I really had to pause & take it all in. I mean, the car ran out of gas 200 ft before a gas station. I just don't see that as a knee slapping moment. I learned a lot about people that day.
