I would have thought just a straight forward sleeping pill Donormyl is a strong sleeping pill. I think sleeping tablets can be bought over the counter, so could knock anyone out in a drink crushed up, I wouldn't know if it dissolves in the water....

GHB is kind of like a liquid ecstasy if taken in moderation it is when someone exceeds that amount it then knocks you out lowering your heart rate and your breathing. Then it would have the same kind of effects as mentioned by the OP..
It does have a nasty taste kind of like sea water.. So not sure if it would be tasted or not depends if the person is drunk already or not i suppose
