someone wondered in my readings, will a cat ever take on a full grown rabbit? Lucky was a terror to baby bunnies and last year was extra bad as I set about 6 free by driving them a mile away sometimes out of a sound sleep as he brought one in.
And yes I also came home to slaughters on the carpeting...
I felt bad but that's nature.. but yes, I had a cat (all Grey Tabby) who was 17 LBs and stocky who once brought in a fairly good sized rabbit. Had half it's fur missing on a leg but other than that it got out and I think survived.
It isnt all cut and dry but I think bottom line if you are in very rural USA then your cat should be allowed to run a bit. Summers are long.
As Rochard said: Sorry cant find the post.
"let him run, he will find his way back, trust me"
So no big deal. As my professors used to say, "Write it out and the answer will come".
So starts up another cycle of hate froim the assholes I guess.
They are my yang tho. So it could be worse.
