Anyway, try http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/...letter-plugin/ or if you really don't need to send a lot of mails, then mailchimp free version. All the decent and above ones are paid, but this free one could help. It's nothing to call momma home, but could help, and it actually works 
You can also use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/newsletter/ but I never used it, so try by yourself
