If you think having an extended warranty is going to cover accidental damage then you might get a bit of a surprise....
Applecare is not insurance.
But then, Apple now and again takes pity on people and replaces stuff when it's clearly not covered under warranty. if you expect a free replacement just hope that you get someone in a good mood
There are LSI's (Liquid Spill Indicators) in the keyboards so if they bother to check they can see if it's had a liquid spill, even if you do a good job of cleaning up any visible stains.
