Scottsdale is definitely a car town, at any given moment you can buy most anything you'd like from the floor of a couple of the exotics dealers, often even before they are available through normal channels - for instance Lotus of Scottsdale had Mini Coopers months before we got a Mini dealership and about a week before they were even released to dealers, some kind of contacts they have with a guy in the company. They always have a stable full of ponies so to speak, between new and vintage Lambos, Lotus, Porsche (they had a GT2 last year that had been specially built in the factory for an exec in the states, the price on it was unreal)
Motorsports of Scottsdale is another place that always has the goods as well -- last time I was in there they had 3 of the Z8 BMW's on the floor, a great selection of Ferraris and they are a Panoz dealer...
Barrett Jacksons physical showroom is also located here in town and if you're ever looking for unbelievably well kept and restored vintage cars, there's no better place to get a selection.
