It's called "contempt" the judge can order you locked up at any time if you're falling way too far behind on child support or alimony..
Some people are serving more time for contempt than other crimes.. fucked system, but you can solve it by getting in contact with the department of justice or the people who control the payments in the local region, and fill out compliance paperwork for your hardship or you can also contest the amounts etc..
