Any money not in your account is not yours. It really have nothing to do with the living paycheck to paycheck.
If you've been in the business for a while you should know how important it is to get paid as fast as possible, especially at these times where so many people are going out of business.
We are basically prepaying all our clients, we have very few clients who selected to be paid on carrier terms where they wait up to 90+ days to get paid, for us it's crucial to always be paid on time AND that the amount matches. We have a dedicated person that sits and chases invoices and payments all week long, if a telco is delayed with a payment for more than a few days without any valid explanation we typically pull out all their numbers, I've done this several times with telco's we worked with for nearly 10 years. Why ? It's a business, if you let your business slip it will eventually hunt you down. If you are dealing with professionals they'll understand
