Not all dentists accept all dental plans, so before committing to a policy you'll want to check that a dentist in your area will accept it.

I got some coverage here: http://www.dentalplans.com/ before getting some work done. I was pleased when the receptionist asked where I got the policy because she said it covered more than most that she had seen - it was either Aetna or Cigna.
