Why does a state govt. pay to feed seniors in a nursing home anyway? This whole country is becoming a nanny state it seems.
I literally had no idea that when you get old and if you go into a nursing home...then taxpayers suddenly have to give up their money to pay for you to eat. I wonder if all the homeless people know about this scam yet? All they gotta do is check into a nursing home (I'm assuming that these days it must be at taxpayer expense for old people to even check in to one)
What a load of horseshit. My grandfather spent the last couple of years of his life in a nursing home and died at age 90 2 years ago. We paid for everything in that nursing home. From his room, to his care, to his food. If I had only known that the taxpayers would have paid for it AND he could have ordered food like he was in a restaurant I wouldn't have paid a penny...
