If you look at study after study on most pleasurable activities, in every culture in the world, sex is always in the top five ( usually #1 and #2 ). And this is consistent across male and female respondents.
So pornstars get paid lets say $1000 per scene to participate in the worlds most pleasurable activity ? As far as I'm concerned.. they have it made.

Great post except you are way off about fame part... for some yes, the want to get fame, but thats rare for first timers...very rare. For every girl that wants to be the next big famous porn star there are many MANY more that do it and desperately don't want to be seen by friends and family back home.
