As someone whose business in large part relies on shooting brand new girls for over a dozen clients all over the world as well as my own movies and tv shows, I have given this question a lot of thought. Thankfully there still are a fair amount of young girls getting into the porn business. I would say perhaps even more than ever since the early 1990s when I started recruting new girls on the East Coast. The mainstreaming and ubiquity of porn going back to the popularity of Jenna Jameson, Girls Gone Wild, the internet porn boom and nowadays tube sites, along with the ease of instantaneous communication with email, social networking and cell phones has certainly played a major factor in that. But the majority of the new girls just don't last very long. And by long I mean more than a few weeks.

Riley Reid is a good example. I shot her way back in March of 2011 as Paige Riley before almost anyone had even heard of her. And while I thought that she was sweet and cute, she was and is certainly not very much hotter than many of the girls I shoot on a weekly or monthly basis, especially with her large spine tattoo and mild acne. I would never have guessed that she would become so popular, and it's really only explainable by the fact that she ended up in LA and made the rounds for weeks until other producers shot her and months until fans caught on to her. Many of the other hot girls I shoot disappear after a brief career for all kinds of reasons from they met their short term goal (court courts & restitution typically), due to boyfriend issues, parents finding out they did porn a week after they started and similar reasons. It doesn't really matter that they *could* potentially make $100k in a year with movies, photoshoots and webcams if they work most days every week like a regular job. Most of the time it just won't happen due to a lack of work ethic, personal issues and lack of opportunities if they aren't one of the hotttest girls working the scene.

There's definitely decent money in a porm career if a girl wants to work it for several months to a year at least. But the reality is that most won't and even if they do, the majority of them are irresponsible with their money and will have nothing to show for it anyway. To satisfy my voracious appetite for new talent and to satisfy all my commitments and maximize my opportunitites, I too end up bringing in new models from all over the country. The more new girls I recruit or cast, the better business is. So as far as I am concerned there are never enough new girls!
