One of the things I learned in this industry is that there are seriously different strokes to different folks.
I had never seen so many gay and trans people in my life which kinda took a while for me to get used to. Kinda creeped my out first, now I take it all with a grain of salt. As long as you don't force yourself on me, small children or pets, do what ever the hell you want to do in my book. Made it real easy when my step daughter came out. No disappointment what so ever on my side except when dealing with others that don't get it.
The Emmys and Oscars and Tonys have different "classes" as well and I am sure that much of the awards is politics there as well as with AVN.
I myself don't and many others like me don't know enough about TG/TS to sell it right. Same can be said for gay and grandma traffic too.
Obviously you are bothered by this and your treatment and I cant imagine what you went through growing up and still have to deal with on a daily basis. I woudl hope it is getting better for you.
Rather than just slam those around you, try to educate us about the predicament and what you want would be best to do to promote you (you should have posted pictures of you and the "winners") and maybe we can all benefit.
At my first Adult Webmaster Conference, the man at the sign in desk was very disappointed when he met me. He claimed that with my handle he expected me to be TS/TG and I had to explain I like Sushi and the name of my boat what the "Sue She Boat" (since all boats are "she") was a good laugh. How many of you who never met me though I was a he/she or what ever you want to call them? Would be interested to know...
PS: I have the URL TrannyMart. One day I will sit down and build something on it. Not too excited about the edit and research aspect so someone make a killer offer so I can let it go!
