I have never gotten a nikon repaired to be honest with you, well never a digital nikon..
However.. I did recently get a canon repaired, and couldn't be happier with them.. The got the lens, fixed, it and shipped it out the same day. I was shocked..
I shipped it from vegas to calf on wed.. and got it back working perfect on friday..
Canons and Nikon and Lights, you only want the best people to work on them.. Don't risk it, just sent it to the maker to get it fixed.
