I say the receiver caught the ball, put one foot down followed by the other while maintaing control of the ball. At that instant it should be ruled a TD. Granted it happened very fast but with the aid of slow motion he did that.
The NFL has a rule as to what constitutes a catch.
What is that rule and how does it differ from what happened on that play?
I would've at least thrown a red flag and challenged it. Obviously the coach, Refs and commentators didn't see it my way. I'm just trying to figure out how I'm wrong and just how close it came to being a TD. It was a really important judgement.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure the play happened with less than 2 minutes left. Can't challenge after the 2 min warning for 2nd and 4th quarters.
