Now here's the part that really pisses me off. Right across the street from the Circle K I stopped at is one of those recycle machines. A nickel for every aluminum can, glass or plastic bottle. The two trash cans in front of the Circle K had visible recyclables in them. I didn't count exactly, but from what I could see easily 35-40 cents worth.
I told the guy to get all of the recyclables out of the trash and handed him a plastic bag from my car and pointed at the machine.
He told me to fuck off.

Try having addicts expect money for opening doors to establishments you are patronizing....in upscale urban communities! and ohhh yea....they want it twice as bad when they let you out.
Orrrr maybe.....having them scream "Change" at you as you walk by. They don't even say "do you have any change to spare" now a days.
I only wish they would offer these people the chance to turn in a can for 5 or 10 cents. But unfortunately it would just lead to more crime. \
Shit... I would recycle for 10 cents a can....
But that wont happen because the "garbage" company enjoys too much profit from the recyclables I throw away.....im not even offered a recycling service!
