The Facebook experience is only as good as the friends that one has on the platform. If a person adds a bunch of silly "friends" who post nothing but nonsense everyday, then that will be the resulting experience. However, if the persons that one adds as "friends" actually have some intellectual depth, the conversations and shared content no doubt will be much more meaningful. Blasting Facebook for the sake of blasting Facebook is simply a matter of ignorance and exemplifies more sheep-like behavior than the varied communities of persons that use Facebook every day. Decline friend requests from dumb individuals and you won't even know that they are there. It's just that simple.
