They're just pandering to that audience like most politicians. I also didn't see any of them "pledging to ban porn" but rather pledging to enforce current obscenity laws which are pretty much non existent. Not one of them mentioned a word about creating a new law.
What are they going to say to a bunch of uptight evangelicals? "Nope, I love porn"
