I heard today that 2% of all dogs are pit bulls. 30% of all dog attacks are by pit bulls. If what I heard on the radio is at least roughly accurate, that would mean pit bulls are fifteen times as likely to attack than the average dog. They would then be the exception to my statement that dogs rarely attack.

yes but if say something like 'x' minority is 12% of the population and yet commits 80% of the violent crime you would get in hot water so don't be bashing pit bulls
