Thats correct. A few Star Wars Fan Girls who worked for us at the time got together to play a live Star Wars drinking and stripping game. We put up a banner on our own site that showed a nude female silhouette battling a Darth Vader Silhouette, and we got busted for it.

That was it - a silhouette.

Watching the trailer for StarWarsXXX there seems to be alot more going on than just a silhouette. I'm no expert but I know you can parody movies the way Spaceballs parodied Star Wars, but they didn't copy anything, so it was legal.

When Family Guy and Robot Chicken did Star Wars, they first asked permission to do it, and they paid a license to Lucasfilm to use the music and sound effects. I don't know for sure but I bet they also had to pay to use the digital models.

Kudos to Vivid if they got permission to do this, or Kudos if their sound guy made what sounds like a perfect recreation of the original Star Wars Sounds. If they didn't get the rights or permissions though, I'd be nervous about all that money spent.
