From the Lyndon LaRouche PAC website:

Quote:
LaRouche: Ron Paul is Off The Wall
May 16, 2011 ? 9:30AM

Appearing on Fox News on Sunday, Rep. Ron Paul was asked the following question by host Chris Wallace: "You say Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, are all unconstitutional."

Paul, who has just announced for the Republican nomination for President, responded: "Technically they are. There's no authority. Article 1, Section 8 doesn't say I can set up an insurance program for people."

Taken aback, Wallace asked: "Doesn't Social Security come under promoting the General Welfare?" Paul answered: "Absolutely not." Wallace: "Congressman, it's not just a liberal view. It was the decision of the Supreme Court in 1937, when they said that Social Security was constitutional under Article 1, section 8 of the Constitution."

Wallace also confronted Paul on the fact that he has said that the government should play no role in bailing out people who live in hurricane zones or flood zones. Wallace: "Question: President Paul would tell those folks, you're on your own?"

Lyndon LaRouche responded that "Ron Paul is off the wall on this one.

I have never trusted him and now my lack of trust in him is confirmed.

He says some useful things, but there are too many screw ball angles.

"He is talking like an idiot. He does not know the meaning of the U.S. Constitution. He is either illiterate or he is drinking the wrong juice these days."
That sounds more like the Lyndon LaRouche I am familiar with...
