It was painful to watch but I'm going to have to place some of the blame on the coaches and the way they play the game. I think Phil Sims got it right when he said they keep Tebow locked down and never give him a chance to find his rhythm so to speak.
The coaches game plan seemed to be pound the running game and wear out the defense until they break one for a score. McGahee came real close to breaking a couple. That also keeps Tebow from making any costly rookie mistakes.
That coaching strategy hasn't payed off the last few games and I hope they modify it for the playoffs.
Tebow has a long way to go before he's great NFL QB and to get there he needs experience.
On a side note, the referees blew several calls in the games I watched including the obvious face mask on Tebow that would have put them first and goal instead of having to kick a FG. Nothing worse than a blown call that changes momentum or a swing in points.
