Virtualbox seems to be most popular, but Xen has also been ported to FreeBSD. As usual, Linux has more choices, while FreeBSD has settled on those two (mainly the one, Virtualbox).
On FreeBSD, jails are another option. That's a much efficient easy of running several FreeBSD instances. It's more efficient by leveraging the fact it's only FreeBSD guests, not generic virtual hardware.
