I mean do you really think Marino would have been as great if he played for the 80's Saints? C'mon man!

the Miami Dolphins were great? please, they were far from great. One Super Bowl appearance in his entire career with that 'great' Dolphins team, how many Hall of Famers on Marino's Dolphin teams - ZERO, just him.
Indianapolis Colts, last year, with Peyton Manning, 10-6, without him this year 2-13 with one game remaining. The Colts without Manning even in their best years were not a great team. Take Peyton off those teams and they were far from great.
I don't remember the Broncos being great. Got their asses kicked in Super Bowls, no team coached by Dan Reeves would ever be called great.
Brees, Montana, Brady are/were systems quarterbacks. they pick apart defences with accurate short passes for the most part. the players around them are drafted and signed to play in that kind of system.
Marino, Manning and Elway - classic drop back quarterbacks with huge arms, give them any even halfway decent receivers and they are putting up their HoF passing numbers.
NFL is now a pass happy league, rules all favor the offense and the QB, can't even compare numbers from this era to earlier eras fairly.
