You people scare me to death. See, this is what happens when you don't teach birth control in high school. The year after I graduated, Texas went to an abstinence-based sex-ed program...and a few years later, my old school dist. had to open up a pregnant-girl school. Correlation there? NO! Really?
My favorite form of birth control with my male partner is his vasectomy. Since he and I are fluid-bonded and don't use condoms, we can just go to it anytime without messing with a condom or dental dams, etc...but with other partners I always use barriers. Gloves for fisting, dams or saran wrap for pussy-eating, condoms on toys...
Y'all who think withdrawl and shit like that is going to keep you kid-and-STD free are insane. And Boneprone is right about the morning-after pill not being a BC method -- it's a last resort, and I know, because I've had to take it, when the hubby's condom broke while he was still fertile in the six weeks after his vasectomy. Not fun. The instructions I got said that the overdose of pills (4 pills at once, the 4 more some hours later, I think) might make me barf, and if it did I had to take more pills right away. Arrgh, I was terrified!
But, I didn't end up preggers, and since the hubby's vasectomy, all has been condom-less and spontaneous...and I got some funny-ass stories to tell about my hubby's behavior during and after the surgery as a bonus...
