When I was young I was never mean to the elderly but they certainly tried my patience. Then as I watched my Father grow old and the changes he went through I fully understood aging. Now I have the utmost respect for the elderly. I look at old age as a badge of honor given to someone that has faced all that life has presented them and have successfully made it out the other side.
Sounds like it was a cool moment. I agree. I have never hated elderly people, I always liked and respected my grandparents and other elderly people, but then I moved into an apartment in my early 20's that was near about 5 big retirement centers and occasionally found them trying my patience. If you went to the grocery store and saw one of the buses from one of the centers parked out front you knew it was going to be an interesting trip because all the elderly were there doing their shopping. Still, it felt kind of cool seeing people in their 80's still out doing their thing and buying food and cooking for themselves instead of just giving up and letting people take care of them.

A friend of mine's grandpa died a few years ago. His grandma decided to sell the house and get a smaller place. My buddy and his wife went to help her pack. He finds about a dozen video tapes in the closet in the bedroom. He asks her if she knew what they were (they were unmarked) and if she wanted to keep them. Without missing a beat she said, "Oh, those are our pornos! Your grandpa and I used to enjoy them. You two should take them and have some fun with them. You might learn a few things."

He took them and said they are all vintage 70's big bush porn.
