Quit blaming corporations and look at the government, aka those who have a monopoly on power and can assault and kidnap you for not obeying their dumb orders. If a company screws you over then don't do business with them. If they do it enough times then they'll be out of business asap
Grow up

Only Libertarians need 'grow up". LOL Don't try to argue for selfishness, either, it has no "virtue" as Rand insisted. Most Libertarians are just immature post-adolescents who want to run around "free" to do what they are actually currently doing, just without the paranoia of getting caught.
What Government is telling you which movies to see, BTW? I digress...
But your biggest naivete is reserved for corporations and Governemnt. First and foremost: they are the same thing. Yes Johnny, I'm talking about good old-fashioned Fascism. Look up the definition please.
There is no "free market", markets are ALL manipulated. And, as Chomsky pointed out, corporations "enforce" their positions using state police. So the melding, if you will, is complete.
We, "the People", have no influence over either "side" (Gov't or corporations), which is why I refer to "the game" as being rigged and, essentially, over.
