I have looked into doing exactly this... Not due to cost - Just due to pleasure...
However the amount of 'Red Tape' in the UK, to get a bike licence these days, make it more trouble than its worth...
Had I just taken my bike test, in 87, I'd have been fine, but in 2012??? Good GREIF !
