i dont think anyone ever said SOPA will kill the industry, anyone thinking it will help us is not thinking very far. Rather i think people dont like the idea because its seen as the US trying to overreach, oppress freedoms and give certain entities control to hurt other peoples button lines without due process.
Do you really think stripping due process out of anything is a good idea?
Anyone willing to sacrifice long term security for temporary safety, deserves neither.
