I know what you mean about the takeaways. Can't find a proper chinese curry anywhere near me. But most of the Chinese takeaways where I'm from just south of London were actually Cantonese (Hong Kong / Old British Empire) so not that suprising I can't find one.
Fish and Chips is real nice at a couple places here, but not the same.
Indian, we're lucky there is 2 and they are both really fucking nice.
Don't think there is any food or beverage round here you can't get somewhere else either. If there is, it probably isn't worth eating or drinking
