This isn't only a problem with Flash, it's a problem across the board.
Some big online presences think they have years to develop a tablet strategy, the reality is they need to do it now. The sales forecasts for tablets are phenomenal and some say even the best forecasts are underestimating the uptake in tablets.
Every time I go to a cafe or catch a train or tram I see many people sitting with tablets. Mobile phones took alot longer to catch on. Whereas once you would see the occasional person with a laptop you almost never do now.
It's worth noting that anyone can make their blog tablet ready simply by having a full text rss feed. This will ensure that all your content is readable by someone using Flipboard or Google Currents. Aggregation applications will get better all the time, Flipboard and Google Currents are just the beginning. It's possible to consume rich web content without even opening a browser and people are catching onto this fast.
