We don't even need a nuclear war to fuck us all. Just think what would happen if we could no longer keep power going at all the nuclear reactor plants around the world.
With out the ability to keep their core cool they would go into a melt down creating nuclear disasters and fall out all over the world.
It's what almost happened in Japan after the Earth quake and just think of that happening at every nuclear plant like it around the world.
Japan's plant only avoided a melt down because it was next to water and they were able to pump fresh water in to keep the reactor cool long enough to get it past a potential melt down.
