It will probably be a blockbuster alright, and beyond gen x crowd they are also widening the demographic with broadway musical fans, musical adaptation fans and the younger GLEE demographic.
Regardless, it makes me want to hurl. The last musical film adaptation I really liked was Rocky Horror, so in general these things make me nauseous.
