$99 per domain I could understand if everyone had an equal opportunity to register any domain. The way I see .xxx playing out is they will get a lot of initial registrations, some people will buy a load of them to try and flip. Then this time next year a lot of people won't want to pay $99 to renew the domains and renewals/registrations will nose dive, the only domains renewed will be the decent .xxx that ICM have reserved most of that they will sell to the highest bidder.
They'll still make a fortune using these shady practices
I've come to expect this from the adult industry so it comes as no surprise.

And I agree with everything you said. If they were $10 and it was a TLD that was run properly they would sell way more but then again 10:1 prob makes up for it.
It really is shady practices. Agreed.
As far as making into law that all adult must be on .xxx?
1) It is a WORLD Wide web (are we gonna let Russia make all the adult money? NOT! Politicians understand money I should hope.)
2) Who is gonna enforce this
the internet police?
I'll spare you the gif in a serious thread.
There are how many hundred of thousands of adult sites and pages? Shit a couple of you guys prob have a couple 100K pages yourselves.
Id say just TWO of you guys have enough domains (and consoles and circle jerk) to keep a dipshit task force occupied for at least four years.
So blah blah to .xxx.
