I actually like this extension and the terms of service.
I did not like .co. I did not think there was anything of long term or special value so I did not register one .co domain.
I do like .xxx and have registered just under 20. Most were through snapnames/moniker at $98 each.
I like that there is a real meaning with the .xxx. Visitors know what kind of content they are going to get.
I think people will start typing in domain .xxx to see what is there.
I like how no .xxx will resolve until the owner gets a Membership ID from the registry. This forces all registrants to at least in some small way verify their identity and have at least some commitment to their domains.
I like the $98 price. As Andrew said, this will keep speculation in check.
I like how there is a 60 day hold on all new regs as that too will keep speculation in check.
I look forward to the best parking solution and best development solution for .xxx domains as I think many registrants might be inclined to develop at least some of their .xxx domains.
I like the TV ad campaign for .xxx.
