If the image quality is better than the cams that are on the market now, it will be worth the investment. You write it off in 5 years. Your clients are going to appreciate the image quality so you will see better sales. Then on the days you don't use it you rent it out.
Of course it's difficult to make an investment in uncertain times like these but if this cam provides with a perfect image I might buy it next year. I'm still considering getting the Arri Alexa as well. It's 4 times as expensive as the Canon but apparently the image quality of this new Canon compares to that of the Alexa. So I'm going to wait till the first end users samples and reviews pop up on the web. I can't be bothered watching vendors samples.
