OOPS.... I forgot to answer how GH2 compares to AF100: IMO hardly any difference, only the GH2 looks a bit sharper to me. Since the GH2 is much cheaper, the decision to sell the AF100 again was quickly made. Also MaDalton mentioned switching between PAL and NTSC: I was always shooting in NTSC here in PAL country, because the filmmode of the GH2 is 24fps only and I was using the GH2 as B-cam at that time so had to keep things in sync. Also when shooting in NTSC mode you can overcrank from 24 to 60fps (factor 2.5), in PAL you can only overcrank from 25 to 50fps (factor 2).
Another disadvantage of the AF100 I forgot to cover is the ugly electronic noise. Basically THAT was my main reason for selling it again. The GH2 doesn't have that kind of electronic noise at all, the noise you see in higher ISOs merely looks like film grain. Did they ever fix that electronic noise problem in the AF100? I remember how owners of the AF100 tried hard to pretend the noise doesn't exist and anybody who saw the noise and started about it in the camera forums almost got crucified
