The popup blocker is not auto-install. If you click "no" on the prompt that asks whether you want to install the blocker software, then the software does not install.

Popup blockers are proliferating quickly at this point; several major ISPs/browser agents now bundle popup killers into their browsers by default. Essentially, we've decided that if users are going to be installing popup blockers in droves, anyway, it's in our best interest to be a part of that market and get some benefit from it, rather than resist it. With popup killers being pushed by all the major ISPs, I don't think that adult affiliate programs staying away from marketing this type of software would slow its proliferation in any meaningful way.
