Just on off tangent thought.
There's a great film detailing how the arms to the Mujaheddin were stepped up over the years and the moment the Russians left. Afghanistan was left to rot and descend into a place the Taliban could take over and Al Qaeda could build a base in. Cost countless billions and thousands of lives to try to put that mistake right.
Someone help me out with the name of the film.
