That's about as compressed as I can make it, but here's a shot:

I'm not sure where to start though I will say that he picked myself and Daymare (Jeff, my good local friend) went to Cybernet Expo together. Cameron who's a reviewer for some some sites and Raja his work partner were also with us.

I had asked if I could hitch a ride with DrinkingHard and Daymare and crash in their room as they were already planning to go and get a room with two double beds. They were both cool with it as it wouldn't of required anymore driving and I ended up pitching (and will soon pay for the rest of my share for the room bill).

So basically we all hung out and talked the whole way to Montreal, hung out a lot during Cybernet Expo and had a great time, each of us individually and as a group. This is where we all started to become friends and bond, and with friendship and bonding comes trust building.

We left Saturday afternoon as planned, and all agreed that another night of partying would have been too much, I agreed because I had only had 30 minutes of broken sleep Saturday night and was drinking until 9am.

Anyways. During the drive back there were lots of things talked about, among them being various ideas and brainstorms and thoughts of certain events and people floating around.

The next day after I was home, Sunday, I remembered a domain name that DrinkingHard had mentioned and thought it was a good idea. I looked up the domain to see if he had registered it, though he had not, so I thought maybe he was not serious/not going to do it, so I decided to ask him.

I asked him if I could register the domain, and instead of getting the "No, I'm going to use it man" or something similar, DrinkingHard exploded and then began to threaten and say very nasty and hurtful things towards me. Had been more specific and direct as to my intentions perhaps the misunderstanding / misinterpretation would not have come this far on DrinkingHard's part. I don't know.

That is the original misunderstanding that I was trying to steal the domain or idea from him. I have talked to a few people and I can somewhat see how my initial non-specific question of the domain could of been distorted with negative assumptions.

DrinkingHard had begun to talk about Jason, the owner of vidsvidsvids.com who he had talked to at the conference the night before, saying how he mocked him with everything he said and that he was full of himself, egotistical, and hoped that he would fail with all of his sites, etc.. I really don't remember specifics of what he said, DrinkingHard's impressions were wrong about him.

Yes, that was also told in the car ride back, and in confidence, and yes I told Jason what DrinkingHard had said because he was becoming a friend of mine as well. He invited me out with his good friend and their girlfriends to drink and had a really good time.

I was hurt from what DrinkingHard had said the night before and was asking friends to see if he was justified with being angry by getting different people's thoughts. The reason I told Jason was because I knew DrinkingHard didn't really give Jason any chance of getting to know him, and that he is actually a really nice guy. I told Jason not to worry or make anything of it because I knew DrinkingHard's opinion of who Jason really was was wrong.

I can't think of there being anything else that could be made public by DrinkingHard. I do apologize for telling Jason what you thought of him, though I wanted to let him know partially so he could talk to you so you'd get to know the actual Jason.

However, I am still hurt by the nasty things DrinkingHard said, I can understand with wrongful assumptions why he would get angry, but not the hurtful things he did.

I just wish this whole thing could be dropped and apologies exchanged.
